Description

The Calgary Board of Education (“CBE”) developed this mixed-use office and assembly space for historical preservation while including the integration of LEED Gold status. In addition to the rehabilitation of the Safran School, this project also included the construction of a12-storey office tower with underground parkade, a three level conference centre, and a multi-purpose complex. m+b scope was inclusive of design, contract admin, fire alarm verification of the base building and tenant fit-out, electrical systems, communication risers, and server rooms. The CBE fit-out also included the CBE server room on the seventh floor, including communication racks, horizontal and vertical communication cabling, cooling systems, fire suppression and all electrical/lighting/communication upgrades.
