We are thrilled to announce that Gregory Pavlovich has been appointed as the new Associate Partner.

Gregory joined M+B in April 2023 as the newest Associate, bringing 22 years of experience in the electrical consulting industry.

Throughout his professional career, Greg has provided innovative solutions to clients of all sizes and industries across Canada. His approach to consulting involves close collaboration with clients and team members to understand specific requirements and expectations for each project, allowing him to develop custom solutions tailored to each project’s engineering, budget, and time-sensitive requirements, developing strategies with recommendations and solutions, followed by detailed engineering.

Greg has extensive experience in all aspects of consulting, from managing projects and people to managing design costs and schedules. He has a special focus on clean energies like Solar PVE System Net Zero and EV Solutions.

Gregory graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University and worked at M+B from 2005 to 2008 before moving to Vancouver.

As an Associate Partner, we believe that Gregory will continue to bring great value to our company. We are confident that with his leadership, our team will be better equipped to provide our clients with high-quality services. As we move forward, we look to continue building on our success and reaching new heights.

We are pleased to announce Gregory Pavlovich as our firm’s newest Associate!

Gregory Pavlovich joins m+b as the newest Professional Engineer and Associate bringing with him 22 years of experience in the electrical consulting industry. Gregory graduated from the Toronto Metropolitan University and, over the last 22 years, has built his experience by living and working across Canada. Gregory lived in Alberta, Vancouver and Ontario and brought experience from those provinces and others.

Gregory’s approach to consulting starts with people by collaborating very closely with clients and other team members to understand specific requirements and expectations on each project. This allows him to develop and provide custom solutions for each project’s engineering, budget and time-sensitive requirements. Strategies are developed with recommendations and solutions presented, followed by detailed engineering. Gregory has a hands-on approach to remaining involved with clients from initial conceptual discussions to final construction and occupancy.  He has extensive experience in all aspects of consulting, from managing projects, people, design costs and schedules.

Gregory worked at M+B from 2005 to 2008 before moving to Vancouver. He is extremely excited to rejoin the team, building on previous relationships with staff and clients. We are thrilled to have him back and welcome him home!

We are pleased to announce Santa Thakali s as our firm’s newest Associate!

Santa Thakali

Santa is a P.Eng in electrical engineering with over 27 years of experience. He joined M+B in 2006. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering- Electrical Engineering degree from Zhejiang University PR China in 1994

Santa has worked on several exciting projects, including high-rise commercial, high-rise residential and multi-use buildings. He was the lead designer for Manulife 707, a LEED® Gold, 27-storey,  state-of-the-art commercial building, and the YW HUB facility, which received the 2019 Mayor’s Urban Design Award under the Urban Architecture award category. Before he joined M+B in 2006, Santa had extensive experience in international airport terminal projects and the US Department of State buildings projects overseas.

Max McLeod

Max is an electrical engineer and LEED® accredited professional. He is our Edmonton office Manager and Senior Project Manager.

He began his career with m+b in 2014. He has been specializing in building design and construction. Max has been involved in the development and delivery of many benchmark projects over the years. With over ten years of experience in electrical engineering, Max continually demonstrates exceptional leadership and technical skills that add value to our clients.

Recently, Max has been involved very successfully as a Sr. Project Manager and Design Lead for many projects in Edmonton, including one of the biggest projects in the company history, the Alberta Infrastructure – Government Centre – Power Distribution System Upgrade.

 

Erik Byrgesen

Erik is an Electrical Project Manager. He began his career at Mulvey+Banani in 2012.

Erik has broadened his skillset through working on projects for fire alarm and life safety systems, electrical distribution and tenant improvements. His areas of expertise include base building systems upgrades, distribution upgrades, electrical consultation for new buildings, tenant improvement projects, and building expansion projects. Erik continually demonstrates exceptional leadership and technical skills that add value to our clients.

Lately, Erik has been involved very successfully as a Project Manager and Design Lead for many projects in Calgary, including institutional projects for the City of Calgary.

We’re proud to announce Reza Pourfarahani as our firm’s newest partner. Reza has been a valuable member of the Mulvey + Banani team since 2008 and has consistently proven his work ethic and professionalism to us and, more importantly, to our clients.

Reza has worked extremely hard since beginning his tenure with Mulvey + Banani to uphold the job he was hired to do and look for ways to improve its effectiveness and grow Mulvey + Banani’s presence in the industry. Reza represents the company values in every client and colleague interaction. Reza graduated from the University of Tehran, Iran, in 1993 with a B. Sc degree. Lately, in 1998 obtained his M.Sc degree from the Sharif University of Technology of Tehran, both degrees in Electrical Engineering.

He has over 26 years of experience in electrical systems design and contract administration. Reza is an expert in commercial, retail and residential base building, new construction, modernization, tenant fit-out, and renovation projects.

Recently, Reza has been involved very successfully as a Sr. Project Manager and Design Lead for many projects in Western Canada, including projects in BC, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Reza is ready to take on new and bigger challenges as he assumes the role of partner.
